India Helpline is an independent, non-commercial directory of verified customer care and emergency helpline numbers for services operating in India — banks, telecom, e-commerce, airlines, insurance, railways, food delivery, payments, utilities, government departments and tech companies.

Why we built this

Finding a legitimate customer care number in India is harder than it should be. Search results are dominated by ad pages, fake numbers set up by scammers, and outdated forum posts. A user in distress — trying to block a compromised card or report a fraud — should not have to wade through this. India Helpline exists to give people the correct number, quickly, on a page they can trust.

How we verify numbers

Every number in this directory is cross-checked against:

• The company's own official website or app.
• The relevant sector regulator — RBI (banks), TRAI (telecom), IRDAI (insurance), DGCA (airlines), MoRTH (transport).
• Government portals — MHA, MEA, MoHFW, EPFO, UIDAI, cybercrime.gov.in.

High-traffic categories are re-verified periodically. Every detail page links to the official source so you can double-check.

What we're not

• We do not represent, work for or partner with any company listed here.
• We do not accept payment for listing, ranking, or removing entries.
• We do not resolve customer service issues on behalf of companies — please call the number directly.
• We are not the government, RBI, TRAI, IRDAI or any regulator.

How we make money

The Site is supported by advertising through Google AdSense, shown in a limited number of slots. Ads never influence which companies are listed, their placement, or the numbers we publish.
